What is the spine of your work?
About
Nick Milo
Nick Milo has spent the last 15 years harnessing the power of digital notes to achieve remarkable feats. He's used digital notes as a tool to calm his thoughts and gain a clearer understanding of the world around him.
I was reading Twyla Tharp’s book “The Creative Habit” and she writes about finding the “spine” of her dance productions.
”The spine is the statement you make to yourself outlining your intentions for the work.”
I’ve been noodling on the spines of...
- my book proposal
- my current YouTube channel
- And larger, what is the spine of LYT?
- And perhaps myself even!
I don’t have clear answers. Maybe something about “nourishing cognitive engagement/aliveness/vitality/empowerment” or maybe something else.
Can you define your current spine?
You don't have to share it. But I find the thought process worth the processing. Good luck.
